In Loving Memory of Leonard A. Lanzarotto
[August 13, 1940] – [August 14, 2025]
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leonard A. Lanzarotto, a beloved brother, father, papa, uncle and friend, who left us on August 14, 2025 at the age of 85.
Lenny precedes his late wife, Laurie Lanzarotto, who passed away in 2010. He leaves behind his loving family; his daughters, Kathy-Ann Lanzarotto and her husband Robert Lotterhand from Plymouth; Lisa Frattasio and her husband Damian from Pembroke. Lenny's grandchildren include Kerri Lanzarotto and Sara Dubois both of California; Max Frattasio, Roman Frattasio and Doc Frattasio all of Pembroke. He is the brother of James Lanzarotto of Franklin and the brother of the late Anthony Lanzarotto of Cambridge and the late Katherine Lanzarotto. His parents were (the late) Leo and Ruth (Antonellis) Lanzarotto. Lenny also leaves behind his loving companion of 15 years, Mo Harshani of Cape Coral, Florida. As well as countless friends who will miss his laughter, smile and his zest for life.
Lenny has been retired for over 20 years where he worked in the office supply industry, starting with emptying trash barrels to working his way up to District Sales Manager. A passionate golfer, he found peace and joy on the fairways, always chasing the perfect swing. He lived a life full of enjoyment and laughter with a big heart and an open spirit; always wanting to have fun. Music filled his days and his soul, from classic records to doowop concerts along with his cherished jukebox - the soundtrack of a life well-lived. He was also an avid reader and traveler, always ready for a new adventure, whether it was a road trip to a new corner of the country or a cruise ship to warm places.
From Massachusetts to Florida, Lenny had many friends and was loyal and generous to each and every one of them. His life-long friends of Massachusetts were Ritchie and (the late) Eunice Tulimieri and Carol and (the late) Ritchie Cappiello to name but a few. He was the Treasurer and Events Coordinator at the Italian American Club in Cape Coral, FL. where he worked very close with his dear friends Cathy and Ralph Sangiovanni. His friendships, many spanning decades, were a testament to his character and heart.
A visiting hour will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home located at 373 Court St. in Plymouth starting at 9:15AM; followed by a mass at St. Mary's at 313 Court St. in Plymouth at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the
American Heart Association or a
charity of your choice.
He lived well, laughed often, and loved deeply. When the word giving comes to mind – it represents a degree of generosity that would be hard to comprehend. If you knew Lenny, you knew you were his friend. We were all lucky to know him.
