Leonard Paul Snyder, age 81, of New Cumberland, died on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Leonard was born on Wednesday, June 7, 1944, in Harrisburg to the late Paul Leroy Snyder and Romaine (Morrow) Snyder.
Leonard’s survivors include his two children: Kevin Snyder and wife Kelly, of Etters, Dawn Gann and husband Andre, of Etters; his nine grandchildren: Tori (John), AJ (Ashley), Tara (Mike), Taila, Tristan, Atticus, Zachary (Shelby), Benjamin (Emily), Joshua; his 11 great-grandchildren: his brother: Daniel Snyder and wife Brenda, of Boiling Springs; and his nephew: Matthew Snyder and wife Amanda, of Mechanicsburg.
Leonard graduated from Mechanicsburg Area High School as part of the class of 1963. He retired from Quaker Oats, with over 30 years of service working in data processing. Leonard had a strong passion for outdoor activities like fishing and hunting, as well as listening to music from the 1950s and 1960s. He appreciated various sports, western movies, and making people laugh. Leonard especially cherished the time spent with his family. He will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
All are welcome to join Leonard’s family at his viewing on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating. Burial will follow the service in Blain Cemetery in Blain.
