Lesa Zint Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 24, 2022.
Lesa Dianne Zint, 63 of Wolfforth, TX. Mother of 3 and loving wife to Steve Zint passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was born on December 30, 1958, to Raymond Roy Rowe and Edith Irene Rowe in Lubbock, TX. After attending Coronado High School, she went to work for Camper Coaches helping with secretary services. She finished her career as a finance and insurance manager at Billy Sims Trailer Town. She retired from Billy Sims in 2019.
Lesa spent many hours volunteering for Shallowater Assembly as a mother advisor and board member for the international order of the Rainbow for girls. She shared this special time with her daughter Amanda. They spent many hours traveling and volunteering.
She was the ultimate baseball mom for her son Jeremy. You could count on her to keep the umpires in line if a bad call was made, especially if Jeremy was pitching.
Lesa was very honored for everyone to know her stepson Jason was a marine. He served from 1997-2001, during his time of service he spent 1 year in Okinawa, 4 months in South Korea, and a 6-month tour in Bosnia during the Kosovo Campaign. His military photo was proudly displayed in the home for everyone to see.
She married Steve Zint in 1990. Many of the things they loved doing together were country line dancing and masonic events where Steve was an active member. They also enjoyed fishing, traveling to the coast, and tractor restoration.
Lesa is preceded in death by Mother Edith Irene Rowe-Smith, Father Roy Rowe, and stepmom Joyce Rowe.
She is survived by her loving husband Steve Zint and her children; Jason Zint and wife Precious Zint of Lubbock, Amanda VanBrug of Lubbock, and Jeremy Zint and wife Brittany Zint of Lubbock. She also has 5 granddaughters, Katie Zint, Faith Zint, Skye Zint, Khloe VanBrug, Lynken Zint, and one grandson Braxton Zint; one sister Barbara Ford of Denton, TX; two brothers, Virgil Rowe and partner Jan Colquitt of Lubbock, David Rowe and wife Donna Rowe of Bastrop; two stepsisters, Kim Billingsley and husband Sam Billingsley of Littlefield, Rebecca Ussery of Oklahoma City. She had two nieces Angela Ford and her wife Ellen of Denton and Lacy Rowe of Bastrop. She had one nephew Michael Rowe and partner Nicole Ethridge of Ralls; a sister by choice Nevada Hart of Lubbock; as well as many cherished friends and cousins.
