Leslie Beth Clark, 74, of Tioga, TX, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 in Tioga. Leslie was born October 10, 1950 in Denton, TX to Harold and Alicia Ann (Acker) Marion. She married Lawrence Merzon Clark in Tioga on February 20, 2000.
Leslie graduated from Texas Women's University in Denton, TX in 1988. She worked for Denton State Supported Living Center as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional from 1990 to 2014. Leslie started a second career as a teacher, in 2015, which had been a longtime dream of hers. She started her teaching career at Gainesville ISD and went on to teach at Sanger ISD. At her passing, she was employed at Pilot Point High School. She absolutely LOVED her students!
Leslie was actively pursuing a third career, taking online courses to become a Certified Medical Coder. She genuinely enjoyed continuing her education!
She loved her family more than anything in the world. She especially adored being a "Mimi' to her grandkids and great-grand baby.
Leslie is survived by her son, Austin Dill and wife Amy of Van Buren, MO; daughter, Brandi Grace and husband Ronnie of Sanger, TX; four grandchildren, Cole Grace, Fallon Grace-Webb and husband Tyler, Brodie Dill, and Jacob Dill; and great-grandchild, Ivy Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Alicia; husband, Merzon; two brothers, Tom and Mark Bounds; and granddaughter, Mya (Dill).
Visitation will be held 6:00PM-7:30PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. Online condolences may be shared at www.slaymemorialfuneralhome.com.
