Leslie Ann Lorenz

Leslie Ann Lorenz was born February 25th, 1987 at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Phoenix, AZ, to Timothy George and Glenda Sue Lorenz (Rego). Leslie (their third of three daughters), was a month shy of her 38th birthday on her passing on January 29, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. She is survived by her mother, father, step-mother (Susan), her two older sisters - Aubrey Lynn (Dustin) Cozzens and Sarah Beth Lorenz, as well as two daughters – Ava Grace (age 10), and Alia Mayweather (age 1.5). She was preceded in death in June 2024, by her husband Andre Mayweather (married May 9, 2023). She attended various grade-schools – mostly in Buckeye and Peoria Arizona, and obtained both her Bachelors (2011) and Master Degrees (MBA, 2019) from University of Phoenix. Leslie was beautiful and brilliant, and very determined and driven. She dreamed passionately of being a mother for her two girls (Ava and Alia). She fiercely loved her daughters - they were her everything. She loved her family and adored her nieces and nephews. She always enjoyed holding and snuggling her "babies". Leslie was the "Queen of Selfies", and she took all the photos at every family event. She had a beautiful and amazing smile. Leslie loved the mountains, camping and cold weather, and enjoyed time in the wilderness calling it "magical"! She had a super-power of being able to remember everyone's birthdays. She was usually the first to text her family on any holiday. She had a few passionate fandoms: Johnjay & Rich, Schitts Creek, the Cardinals, and The Office. She loved a good comedy, watching football, and she was convinced that Johnjay and she would someday be great friends. Her absence will create a vacuum in her family's world, but we look forward to the possibility of being with her again on the other side of the veil.
