Letitia Elaine Watson (Cannon) passed away peacefully on June 20th 2024. She lived in Dallas, Georgia for 20 plus years with her beloved husband Duane, and their dogs.
She was born on October 23, 1956 in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina and moved around as a military child before setting roots in Georgia. She had a strong love of many things but at the top of the list was Harley Davidson, anything antique or country/rustic, and Georgia Bulldogs football. She lived for her family, and loved with a fierceness that had to be earned. But once she let you in, it was for life.
She is survived by her children, son, Marshall Christopher Thompson (48) of Zebulon, GA; daughter-in-law, Vicky Thompson of Pine Mountain, GA; daughter, Ashley Nicole Watson (39) of Dallas, GA; son-in-law, Corey Forgeur of Dallas, GA; bonus son, David Smith of New Port Richey, FL; and grandson, Jackson Scott Forgeur (9) of Dallas, GA.
She is also survived by grandchildren: Destinee Thompson, Chad Thompson, Cameron Thompson, Jonathon Rush, Nichole Parks, Zachery Parks, Maddox Parks, Baby Dylan, and Melina; niece, Meredith Ray; nephew, Charles Harris; sister, Marsha Shaw; and many others.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Duane Watson; mother, Evelyn Cannon; mother-in-law, Wanda Cooper; grandmother-in-law, Mildred Arnett; grandmother-in-law, Grace Cooper; grandson, Christopher Parks; and many others.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral Service will be held in the Sam Clark Chapel on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Ashley Watson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate assistance with funeral costs. Contributions may be made directly to Clark Funeral Home by mail, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, Georgia 30141, or by phone 770-445-7133
