Levi John Vincent

Levi John Vincent, 13 days old, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025 in the arms of his mom and dad.
Levi is survived by his parents Mathew and Samantha Vincent, his brother Christian Vincent, grandparents Brian (Phyllis) Vincent, grandparents Philip (Kristina) Ashley, great grandparents John (Judith) Ashley, aunts and uncles, Brian (Stephanie) Vincent, Andrew (Arianna) Vincent, Kyle (Jaqueline) Vincent, Cory (Rebecca) Ashley, Robert Garguilo, Krista Koziarz, grandparents through love Richard (Bethany) Garguilo, and cousins Kylie, Carson, Chase, Harper, Bryson, Cheyenne, and Baby Ashley.
Levi was welcomed into heaven by his great grandparents Ken (Betty) Vincent, Americo (Mary) Malta, and Gerald (Kathleen) Alvarez as well as his cousin Baby Barrett.
Levi was born at the Wynn Hospital on February 19, 2025. Due to complications from childbirth, Levi suffered an injury to his brain and was taken to the NICU at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Levi's medical team worked to give him the best care possible, but after a week, it became evident that Levi's time on earth would be short. Levi's doctors gave him the care and compassion to live comfortably and allowed Levi to come home to meet his family, most importantly, his older brother and dog. Levi's parents promised him that they would be able to snuggle on the couch as a family and that promise was fulfilled.
Levi's mom and dad would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Slocum Dickson Medial Group, the Wynn Hospital, Crouse Hospital, Upstate University Hospital, and Hospice for not only the care given to Levi, but for the love given to his family. Their hope is that Levi is remembered as the brave little boy who stayed around to let his mom and dad know his love.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart-St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church located at 201 Main St New York Mills, NY 13417. All who know and love Levi and his family are welcome to attend. Arrangements are under the care of Wolanin Funeral Home, New York Mills, NY.
