Our deepest sympathies to Nancy and family. Reading has lost one of it's shining lights. Chuck was always there for the youth in town, supporting them through athletics at the high school, or cub scouts at St Agnes. I met Chuck when our kids were young and he remained a part of our lives ever since. He was always very eager to help and had an easy going attitude about life. We are all better for having known Chuck Schena. Chuck had a unique way about how he addressed you if he felt close to you. Didn't matter if you were male or female. We will truly miss you, Honey.
Our love and prayers to Nancy, Matt, Andrew and Allison

To the Schena family, As a friend, I will miss Chuck's enthusiastic and upbeat personality. I always enjoyed our relationship, and his close friendship with his partner in crime, Joe Donegan. As a coach, I will be forever grateful for his contributions to our program, whether it was the weight room, training room, or the press box. Chuck was always in the center of the effort. His tireless energy was contagious and shared by his sons, Matt and Andrew. Life is always too short, but, Chuck lived his life well. Fondly, Coach Kaz

Chuck's generous spirit was matched only by his friendly nature and my entire family was saddened to hear of his passing. I most often saw Chuck in or around RMHS but whenever and wherever I bumped into him, I would be left smiling. His energy and his upbeat attitude were a pleasure to be around and will be greatly missed.

What a wonderful man who helped the Town of Reading - sports. Inspirational behind the Press Box at RMHS, weight room and more. All around good guy who always wanted to help. Originally ran electricity from various town businesses to light the trees on main street - at no charge for lighting festival. Good memories on working projects together with Joe. My deepest sympathy to is family for which he always talked about and was proud of.

Our deepest sympathy to Nancy, Matt, Andy, and Allyson - our neighbors for many years. We often think of Chuck and family and remember the pool parties, fireworks, and fun times - a well-worn path between our homes. May he rest in peace.

I worked closely with Chuck doing different projects for Reading sports, especially regarding football and rebuilding the field house. He was always rallying the troops and unselfishly donating his time for the athletes. A great communicator with a big heart and a knowledgeable sportscaster . He will be missed by many of us.
