Lewis L. Schumacher

Lew Schumacher Jr. Passed away July 8th after a short intense fight with cancer.
Lew was born in Canton Ohio to the late Lewis and Emma Schumacher on February 1st 1961.
Lew was one of the smoothest guys you would ever meet. A boy who was completely free range. A carefree attitude that nothing seemed to bother. Running with his brother, they could stand on their own. Many great memories from the cabin at Atwood. The best childhood ever.
Lew loved the time he spent with his wife, "Hey Mare". From the moment they met they spent all their time together working, going to concerts, riding motorcycles, doing "sleepers" off the deck, and occasionally hitting the lake on Uncle Johns boat.
Hard working and devoted to those he loved, and loved he was.
Lew never met a stranger.
His hobbies included collecting sports cards, motorcycling, concerts and his Camaro he's had since high school. What he loved most was spending time with the grandchildren.
He will be missed.
Don't cry because he's gone, smile because he was here.
Lew is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ann.
Also surviving are his daughter Ashley, grandchildren Austin, Madison and Alexis. Stepdaughter Jessica, granddaughters Katelyn and Claire, Stepson Adam (Erin), Grandchildren Autumn, Naomi, and Norman
Sister Rita (Tim) Hissner. Brother Jim (Colleen) Schumacher.
A celebration of life will be held on August 5th @ Earl Lake Park at 633 Earl Rd NW Massillon Ohio 44647 from Noon to 6pm with memorial service at 1pm. Free fishing and swimming for all to enjoy in Lew's memory.
