Lillian "Lil" Catherine (Stippler) MacGregor, 104, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at West River Health Care Center.

Lil was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 20, 1921 to the late Walter and Amelia (Vogl) Stippler. She attended Saint Anthony's Grade School and graduated from Ferdinand High School in 1939. She went on to graduate from Lockyear College. Lil then started at The Citizens Bank. She and her husband Pat, her father, brothers, and later her son, Bruce owned and operated Stippler Tool and Supply Company. Lil then stayed at home for a few years, during which time she received her realtor's license and began working for Neidig Realty for twelve years. She then went back to work for Stippler Tool and Supply, where she retired. Lil and Pat were both active, in their younger years, at St. Theresa Catholic Church and the "new" Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Lil's favorite things were her family and flowers.

Lil is survived by her son, Bruce MacGregor; daughter, Molly Clevenger (Dennis); grandchildren, Sean MacGregor (Katie), Laura Flemming (Victor), Emily Clevenger (Jon Adamson), and Ian Clevenger; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Lane Flemming, Finnigan MacGregor, Katie Clevenger, and Samson Adamson; sisters, Bertha Julian and Margaret Ballard; several nieces and nephews; and her friend and neighbor, Susie Wilson.

Lil was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Patrick MacGregor, whom she married May 14, 1943; parents, Walter and Amelia (Vogl) Stippler; infant son, Daniel Patrick MacGregor; daughter-in-law, Katherine MacGregor; brother, Bro. Hugo Stippler; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Tom Rice; brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Jan Stippler; and brothers-in-law, Ralph Julian and Gene Ballard. Also preceding Lil are brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Paul MacGregor (Elsye Boyne), Sr., Marie William MacGregor, Anna and Jack MacGregor, Charlotte and Jerry MacGregor, Flo and Donald MacGregor.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 5528 Hogue Rd., Evansville IN, 47712 with Fr. Luke Hassler celebrating. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 9:00 am until mass time on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church or It Takes A Village Rescue, 1417 Stockwell Rd., Evansville, IN 47715.

The family would like to thank West River Health Care, Heart to Heart Hospice, Charlotte Hester, and Carolyn Wintz for the excellent care of Mom.
