Uncle Lenny, you were always so full of life. I remember when I was a little girl you always told us to get in the truck, and you would take us all around to do your errands and the tavern. You would always teach us the ways of the real world. You would look out for us. Most of all, you would always tell us you loved us. Even when I moved to CA, you would always call and make sure I was safe and doing well. I remember when I met Matthew, my husband, you called to make sure he was a good man. What a special time we had when you were here for Zach's wedding. You were a great uncle, and I will forever hold you in my heart. Love you- Jenny

I will miss the times that we shared together. We did business together and became friends after that Lenny will be missed as he made an indelible impression on everyone that he met thoughts and prayers go out to his family and especially his daughters who he loved dearly.

Linas "Lenny" are names that are adjacent to my understanding of him over the years. "Uncle Lenny" is how I knew and appreciated him for over 25 years. I am privileged to have known one of the longest and most cherished friendships with Uncle Lenny´s ACTUAL nephew, Andrew Puisis. As a result, I spent most childhood summers in Long Beach admiring and loving the entire family as my own including Virginia, Frank, Kristina, Anthony and Alex. He was endearingly called one only name as far as I was concerned all those summers.....so he is "Uncle Lenny" to me now in perpetuity.
Furthermore, I was fractured to learn of Uncle Lenny´s son Matty Zeimys passing. I respected Matt as an icon of sorts starting by hanging on the corner and being a lifelong 37th street brother of mine. An American hero and fellow lover of dogs including HAVOC his loyal Dogo Argentino who I think of often.
To the entire family....please know I love you and may eternal rest be granted unto Uncle Lenny & Matty Zeimys. May Havoc return to you one day in heaven. And long live 37th street one day behind the pearly gates.

Dear Linas,
I hope you knew, that you had a very special place in my heart.
I feel so lucky and blessed that we had a chance to talk just a couple of days before you left us.
The nurse asked how I am related to you. I said you are my cousin.
And you said, "She is more than a cousin, she is my sister!" This last day we spent together was special and will stay with me forever. We had so many happy and loving memories. And for that, I am forever grateful.
Thank you Linukai for everything. You helped our family tremendously.
Your love , Your kindness, Your generosity we will never forget. You will stay forever in our hearts. You will be missed beyond measure. Gone to soon but never forgotten.
Sending love and strength through this difficult time.
With Love,
Jolanta

It is with great sadness that offer my sincere condolences to the entire Zeimys Family. I heard the sad news today. I had the pleasure of meeting lenny 42 years ago when I was 15. He hired me to work weekends and after school. He took a chance on me and soon after I spent every day with him. I spent time with his family and I felt like family. He taught me so many things throughout my time with him. I looked up to him like a father. He taught me about life and business. He seen in me what I didn´t. For 9 years I was with him daily and I had a million laughs and life lessons along the way. I never got the chance to tell him , even after reconnecting many years later how much he impacted my life in a positive way. May he rest in eternal peace.
