SHELBY: Linda Anthony Crance, born on 10/11/1943 in Shelby, NC, passed away from a sudden illness, on August 15, 2025 at the age of 81.

Linda retired from Stoffers (Nestle) in Gaffney, SC. She was known for her kind hearted, creative nature. Always willing to tell you a good story or a joke. One of her favorite things to do was reading mystery novels and ice fishing on Lake Ontario.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Betty Anthony; and her husband, Thomas Crance. She leaves behind her three daughters, Tonyia and Michael Marshall of Staunton, VA, Deb Farris of Shelby, and Shari and Eric Pitcock of Zanesville, OH; grandson, Seth and Sarah Camp of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter, Mikayla Pitcock of Columbus, OH; and three great grandchildren Gabe, Lukas, and Shepherd Camp.

We also want to give a special thank you to Atrium Health Cleveland ICU, Hospice of Cleveland County and Cheri and Teddy.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the home of Deb Farris on August 18, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

To honor the memory of Linda, the family ask that memorial donations be made to the Hospice Foundation of Cleveland County.
