Linda Dilatush Hertel, of Langhorne, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Red Bank, NJ on April 5, 1957, and raised in Cranbury, NJ, she was the loving daughter to Elfriede and the late Robert Dilatush.
Linda graduated from Princeton High School in 1975, and the University of Miami in Florida, in 1979 where she majored in Education. It was at the University where she met her loving husband, Doug.
Linda and Doug were married in 1982 and started their lives in Hightstown, NJ, before later moving to Langhorne, PA to raise their two boys, Greg and Nick. Linda spent many of her years as a teacher throughout different elementary schools in New Jersey, interspersed with years as a dedicated stay-at-home mother to her boys. In 2020 she became a grandmother and loved nothing more than spending time with her two grandsons, Isaac and Caleb.
Linda was very dedicated to her entire family, spending many fond years at get-togethers with her parents, siblings (including her late beloved brother, Kurt), and nieces and nephews. When not spending time with her family, she was an avid reader and some of her favorite times were spent at Long Beach Island or by the pool.
She was a long-time member of Woodside Presbyterian Church in Yardley, Pennsylvania and in recent years was very active in women's groups and bible studies.
Linda is survived by her loving sons, Greg (Maryellen) and Nick (Jillian) and her beloved grandchildren, Isaac and Caleb.
Family and friends are invited to Linda's Life Celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10:00-11:00am at Woodside Presbyterian Church, 1667 Edgewood Road, Yardley, PA 19067. Her Memorial Service will follow at 11:00am with light reception at noon.
Services entrusted under the care of Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, Langhorne, PA.
