Linda Carolyn Hodges Lowe

Mrs. Linda Carolyn Hodges Lowe, age 78, of Lowgap, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born in Surry County on February 21, 1947, to the late Blan Carr and Lillian Fern Hawks Hodges. Mrs. Lowe was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sibling who will be dearly missed by the many that were blessed to have known her. Mrs. Lowe worked many years in production for Cook Medical Supplies and was a faithful servant of the Lord and attended Mountain View Baptist Church. Mrs. Lowe is survived by loving husband of 56 years, Gary D. Lowe; son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. Lowe and Audra; grandchildren and their spouses, Sabra Murphy and Nate, Samantha Lowe, Jacob Fregia and Madison, Josh Fregia and Mackenzie, Kole Pruitt and Evelyn; eight great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Alita Gunter and Glenn; brothers and sister-in-law, Dennis Hodges, Mark Hodges and Mary; her cherished “Hand and Foot Card Friends”. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Weldon Hodges and Janis, Sam Hodges and Betty, Elaine Hodges. A celebration of Mrs. Lowe life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with the Rev. Ewell Vernon and Dr. Jonathon Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 9:30 until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 8704 W. Pine Street, Lowgap, NC 27024.
