Linda Sue McCammon

Linda Sue McCammon, 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away November 17, 2025. She was born April 7, 1947 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to Ralph Langley and Atholean Langley.
Linda dedicated 21 years to J.C. Penney, where she worked in the makeup counter and home décor departments before retiring. She also loved sewing and going "junking" with her sister, often returning with a trailer full of antique treasures. She found joy in cooking for her family and cherished the times spent fishing together, complete with memorable fish fries and shrimp boils.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Langley and Atholean Langley.
Survivors include her spouse Allen McCammon; son Kevin McCammon; brother Gene Langley of Tennessee; sister Jo Ann Thomas of North Little Rock; brother-in-law Dr. Gordon McCammon of Tennessee; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Linda's life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Griffin officiating. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Burial to follow service at Crestview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Richard Langley; John Langley; Gary Washam; Brent Stane; Jeffe Griffin and Billy Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Carti Cancer Center.
