Rochester – NY
Linda Lee Meyer, age 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17.
She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, sister, cousins and friends.
Linda was a graduate of Jamestown, NY, High School (Class of 1965), University of Rochester (Class of 1970) with a B.A. in English and SUNY Binghamton Masters (Class of 1971).
She worked as a teacher and Administrator earlier in her career at Wheatland Chili Schools and SUNY Brockport. Then she went on to work at Rochester Institute of Technology as Director of HEOP (Higher Education Opportunity Program) until her retirement.
Linda cared greatly for her family, friends, and students. She remained in contact with some students that she worked with, up until the day that she passed.
She truly enjoyed helping others any time that she could and had a profound impact on many lives. She loved all things nature and found beauty everywhere.
Linda loved animals and had very fond memories of her dogs, cats, birds, and horses.
Linda was brilliantly smart, beautiful, artistic, compassionate, and hilarious. She loved laughter and chatting about movies, music, food, flowers, or gardening.
Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on through her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
There will be no funeral per her wishes. Donations may be made in her name to Lollypop Farm

Linda and I never met. We were in the same French class during the 1966-67 school year at the U. of R. I admired her beauty and her bearing, and was not alone in this. I knew she had an older sister, Cherry. With the deepest of regards, I wish her family every blessing.
