Linda Kay (Weimer) Neuburger gained her Heavenly wings on January 6, 2025 at the age of 71. She was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado on April 19, 1953 to her parents, Abe & Hazel Weimer. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School and raised her four kids in Weldona, Colorado. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend known for her infectious smile, vivacious laugh, and her love of cows. Linda loved being outdoors and spent much time working in her yard and gardens. She was an incredible seamstress and enjoyed reupholstering and refinishing furniture.
On March 31, 2012 she married Dennis Neuburger and they made their home in Loveland, Colorado. Throughout their marriage Linda acquired a new backyard pool that she loved, spent time traveling and above all else spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Her grandkids were the light of her life and nothing gave her greater joy than being with them, supporting them at sporting events and just plain spoiling them in all ways possible.
Linda is survived by her husband, Dennis Neuburger of Loveland; her children Terresa ( Charlie) Lauck of Fort Morgan, Stacy Thompson (Paul Mendoza) of Loveland, and Kyle Thompson (Cassie) of Wiggins; grandchildren Ashley, Michael, Amber & Allie Lauck, T.J. and KC Mendoza, Chase and Taylor Thompson, and Ashlynn, Payten, Hesston Thompson; and siblings Bob (Linda) Weimer of Fort Collins, Karen (Bill) Baker of Peabody, Massachusetts, and Cathy (Kevin) Lindell of Fort Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Chuck E. Thompson, and her grandson, Geoffrey Lauck.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held at Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan, Colorado on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
