Linda Irene Yoder, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, at the age of 76, in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. Born on February 11, 1948, to the late Joseph Grady and Elizabeth Boyce, Linda's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the deep bonds of family.
Linda was a long-time resident of Philadelphia,PA and New Jersey. Her presence in the community was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and the many lives she touched. Linda's journey through life was shared with her beloved husband, Nelson B. Yoder, who preceded her in death, leaving a legacy of love that continued to flourish through their children and grandchildren.
A devoted mother to Jason, Jeffrey (Mistee), and Jessica, Linda's nurturing spirit was the cornerstone of their upbringing. Her role as a grandmother to Sean, Jordan, Jaci, Sammy, Jakson and Candis was one she cherished with every fiber of her being. She was a devoted and loving sister to Gail Corvaia (Frank). She was a fun and doting aunt to Matt Turner (Christine), and Betsy Turner (Steve) as well as a great-aunt to Olan Turner. Linda's capacity to love extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a mom to many, guiding and supporting countless individuals with a gentle hand and an open heart.
Linda's passion for life was evident in her role as a coach, where she inspired others to reach their full potential. Her support K-9, Lady, was a constant companion and a source of comfort not only to Linda but also to everyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with the gentle canine.
Her artistic soul found expression in painting, a hobby that brought her immense joy and allowed her to share her inner world with others. Linda's artwork was a vibrant reflection of her personality, filled with warmth, color, and life. Her creative spirit will be remembered through the beautiful pieces she leaves behind, each a cherished memory of her talent and passion.
