Lisa Genne Brown left her earthly home on September 26, 2021 at the age of 64.
Lisa was the youngest of four children, born November 15, 1956, in Tulsa, OK to Robert and Irma Jo (Trammell) Marston. She was raised in Broken Arrow and graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1975.
After high school Lisa married Russ Keller and the couple moved to Stillwater, OK while Russ attended college at Oklahoma State University. Their daughter Jennifer was born that same year. After college, they moved to Tulsa and their son Neal was born in 1980. Lisa and Russ later divorced in 1986.
Lisa worked hard as a single mother to support her children. First at St. John's hospital and then she went to work for Stainless Tubular Products. It was during this time that she met Larry Brown at a social event she attended with her fellow co-workers and friends. Lisa and Larry begin dating and were married on November 6, 1999 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Their marriage was built on love, honor and a lot of humor. They found something to laugh about every day as they filled their time with their fur babies, planting gardens, feeding and watering birds. They also loved to vacation, particularly trips to Las Vegas where Lisa loved to attend any and all magician shows! Lisa and Larry also traveled with Larry's brother Alan and his wife, Rebecca Brown. The foursome traveled to Hawaii, which was Lisa's favorite place. They also took a cruise every five years, the last one in September of 2019.
Lisa will be remembered for how much she loved her entire family, but her pride and joy were her grandchildren. There aren't words to express how much love she had for them.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father Robert Marston.
Lisa leaves behind many loving memories to be cherished by her family; mother Irma Jo Marston, husband Larry Brown, daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law Randy Cowles, and her grandchildren Remington and Paisley Cowles, son Neal Keller and, "granddog" Bailey Keller, as well as other loving relatives and a host of friends. Lisa will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday September 30, 2021 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel, 5757 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma, with Pastor William (Hess) Hester, Jr. officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt Funeral Service. Family and friends may send memories and condolences to the family online, www.schaudtfuneralservice.com
