Lisa Ann Domingos
56, of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 17, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a lifelong battle with lung disease. Lisa was born on September 18, 1967, in Texas to the late Robert and Donna (Strobl) Johnson. Growing up as an Army child she lived in various places both domestic and abroad. On March 24th, 1984 she met her high-school sweetheart and love of her life Dean Domingos. They were married September 11, 1987, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kimberly, WI. In Dean's own words "being with her made me into the man I am today."
She was a true caregiver at heart, starting to care give in her teens and throughout her career as a CNA in Senior Living facilities. Her true passion in life was her family to which she brought immeasurable love and joy to. First with her own children, than later in life with her grandchildren whom affectionately called her "Mema".
Camping with family, gardening and helping her kids make their houses a home, were some of the things she most enjoyed doing.
She is survived by her husband: Dean Domingos, her three children: Danielle (Stefanie) Rice and their son, Quintin; Joelle (Josh) Hesse and their children: Vivian and Sophia; Derek (McKenzye) Domingos and their daughter Portia; will all carry on the love and spirit of Lisa in her honor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Dawn Johnson.
A Prayer Service for Lisa will be held at 3 PM, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel with Deacon C.F. Dedman officiating. Friends and family can visit from 1 PM until the time of the prayer service.
Lisa's family would like to thank the wonderful ICU staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their care and concern the past week.
