BELOVED MOTHER, SISTER, DAUGHTER & FRIEND
It's impossible to sum up a soul as bright, bold, and unforgettable as Lisa Townes - but if you knew her, you're probably already smiling just thinking about her. Born on September 9, 1997, and taken from us far too soon on April 28 2025, Lisa lived all 27 of her years like a firecracker: loud, hilarious, dazzling and absolutely unapologetic!!
Lisa was the life of every party - whether it was a celebration or just a Tuesday night in the living room. She had the kind of laugh that turned heads from across the room, the kind of jokes that made you spit out your drink, and a dramatic flair that made even grocery runs feel like a scene from a movie.
Lisa was beautiful - and she knew it. She'd tell you herself, probably while fixing her lashes in your mirror and hyping herself up with a whole performance in the background. Lisa didn't just walk into a room, she "entered" it - with presence, style, and something hilarious to say every single time.
But behind all the sparkle and sass was a heart full of love, and nothing mattered more to her than her daughter, Ava. Lisa adored Ava fiercely, and her eyes lit up every time she talked about her. Her heart was as big as her personality - and that's saying something.
Lisa leaves behind her beloved daughter, Ava; her mothers, Florine and Maxine; her siblings, Jasmine, Lamar, Shawn, Nicholas, Jessica, Ronnie, Angel, Lawrence, and Keith; and a wild, loving tribe of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends - all of us still trying to believe this isn't just one of her jokes.
Lisa's favorite quote was "We All We Got," and she meant it. Her loyalty ran deep, and her love was real, loud, and unfiltered - just like her.
So, don't cry too long - Lisa would hate that. Laugh loud, dance hard, and tell your people you love them!! That's what she would have done.
