Lloyd Charles ‘Ginger’ Derowitsch, 77, of Lubbock, TX, passed away April 22, 2024. He was born November 6, 1946 in Deshler, NE to Lloyd Deel & Lois Arlene (Harmes) Derowitsch.
He graduated from Belleville, KS High School and started work as an engineering aide during the building of Interstate 70.
He met and married Donna Deloris Cline in 1965 and they became the proud parents of three adopted sons, twins Thomas & Timothy, and Chad.
He spent time as a financial consultant for local cooperatives through Farmland Industries, becoming general manager of two different Farmer Cooperatives, and finished his career with 23 years of working for CrustBuster/Speed King of Dodge City, KS.
Lloyd loved to spend his free time with his family, camping, golfing and tournament fishing, as well as being involved in Rotary Club, Elks Lodge and Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; brother, Jack; and, son, Tom.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Sue Nightingale; sister, Susan Kearns; sister, Marla (Jerry) Wilson; son, Tim; son, Chad (Kristin): 3 granddaughters, 2 step sons, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members & loved ones.
A private interment will take place at Chester Cemetery, Thayer County, NE.
