Lloyd L. Holloway, Jr., 75, of DeSoto Parish, Louisiana passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024. He was born on January 19, 1949, in Dierks, Arkansas to Lloyd L. Holloway, Sr. and Bobbie J. Lincecum Holloway.
Graveside services honoring the life of Lloyd will be held at 12:00 p.m. on February 9, 2024, located at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Bro. Dustin Poole. Honoring Lloyd as pallbearers will be Jake Hogue, Gary Strickland, Jason (JJ) Burrell, Levi and Gabriel Holloway. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ken Elliott and Rick Elliott.
Lloyd went to Ryder High School. He was married to Sandra K. Holloway for 54 years. Lloyd proudly served in the Vietnam War and was a welder for more than 40 years. He will forever be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His hobbies included fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Bobbie Holloway, and his wife, Sandra K. Holloway. Left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Angela K. Patterson (Marty), Shannon Holloway Foster (Preston), and Wendi L. Wright (Mark); son, Timothy L. Holloway (Monica); 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles Cox (Leanne).
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Bristol Hospice Staff and The Veteran’s Home staff.
