Logan Robert Pickard-a cherished and precious son, brother, nephew, friend, and beloved cousin-passed away on May 17, 2025, at his home. Born on October 29, 1993, to Laine and K-Trina Pickard in Bedford, Texas, Logan arrived into this world fifteen months after his older brother, Devon.
From the very beginning, Logan had a soul drawn to adventure and creativity. Whether carving through the streets on his skateboard, sketching images onto a page, or casting his fishing line into the quiet embrace of nature, he lived with an energy that was both fierce and tender. He hiked, he camped, he gamed-immersing himself in moments of each day. Animals seemed to recognize the kindness within him, gravitating toward his gentle presence, and he loved them just as deeply in return.
On February 8, 2004, Logan made the most important decision of his life, accepting the Lord Jesus Christ in Greenville, Texas. His faith became a quiet part of who he was. As he grew, his passions expanded-cooking for his loved ones, finding joy in hiking, and treasuring time with his family.
Logan's legacy lives on in those who loved him most. He is survived by his mother, K-Trina Pickard of Macomb, Oklahoma; his father, Laine Pickard of Van, Texas; his brother, Devon Pickard of Van, Texas; his grandmother, Beth Meador of Cross Plains, Texas; and countless number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives were brightened by his presence.
More than anything, Logan will be remembered for his brilliant blue eyes that held the depth of his kindness, his radiant smile that could lift even the heaviest hearts, and the unwavering generosity he extended to both people and animals alike.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hope Is Alive, Oklahoma City in Logan's name would be appreciated, ensuring that his legacy of love, kindness, and compassion continues to touch lives.
