Lois Ethel Hill Anderson, 85, of Springville, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025. She was born September 28, 1939 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Edwin Casper Hill and Melva Fern Robinson Hill.
Lois worked many years as a secretary for Springville Middle School and Mapleton Junior High School. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as a temple worker for many years. She loved to serve, especially in Primary. She loved music and was an accomplished pianist and organist. Her greatest role was that of mother and grandmother. She spent her last years under the tender care of Spring Gardens in Mapleton. The family thanks them for her great care. She will be greatly missed.
Lois is survived by her four children: Sherry (Marty) Stafford of Eagle, Idaho; James (Evonne) Anderson of Springville; Bonnie (Lynn) Davies of Springville; Jennifer (Eli) Herring of Orem; 30 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Merrill.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11 am at the Kolob 8th Ward chapel located at 840 South 400 East, Springville, Utah. A viewing will be held just prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the church. Burial will be at Springville Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Primary Children’s Hospital.
