Robert T. Seal, age 70, of Mapleton, Utah, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born on October 24, 1954, in Provo, Utah, to Glenn and Zelma (Teddy) Seal. He was sealed to Cindy Gehring on June 5, 1975, in the Provo LDS Temple.

Robert grew up working on his family’s orchard in the summers and lived in different small towns in Utah during the school year. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and love for people in Mapleton. He enjoyed sales, working with computers, and learning new things throughout his career. Robert worked hard and passed that value on to his children.

He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed supporting his grandchildren. Robert served in many roles at his church, including working with the youth. He also loved traveling, gardening, being outdoors, and caring for animals. After the loss of his son, Robert became interested in helping people with mental illness.

Robert is survived by his wife, Cindy; his son, Ryan (Jessica) Seal of Spanish Fork; his daughter, Katie (Spencer) Oman of Springville; five grandchildren; his dog, Missy; and his sister, Gayle Seal Blanchette. He was preceded in death by his son, Adam; his sister, Julie Seal Goble; and his brother, Herbert Glenn (Gee) Seal.

A viewing will be held at the LDS Chapel, 1215 North 1000 West, Mapleton, Utah, on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. The graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville.

Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Wasatch Behavioral Health Foundation. The family thanks the staff at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center ICU for their care and kindness.
