Lois Brittain, devoted wife, mother & grandmother Lois J Brittain, 96, of Corbin KY passed away Tuesday April 30, 2024. Lois is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd & Foye Leonard, Husband George Brittain and daughter Pamela Brittain. Mrs. George Brittain as she liked to go by, although the role of a mother was most important to her. She was a spectacular grandmother. When Lois was younger, she helped raise all her grandchildren and made wonderful memories with us all. She always played cards, board games, listened to school issues & always had the latest movie to watch together. Lois was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She also loved her flowers; she could grow the most beautiful flower beds. Lois grew up in a time that food was scarce, there was never a time that she wasn't trying to feed anyone who enter the home and always sharing garden food. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Lois Brittain is survived by her son: Dennis Charles Brittain, Frankfort, KY; that was the most devoted and loving and took care of all her needs. Grandchildren Charles Lloyd Brittain (Amy), Michelle Wyatt (Randy), and Richie Wyatt; great-grandchildren: Scarlett Wyatt, Kenna Wyatt, and Jacob Wyatt (Hope); her great-great-grandchildren: Lily Wyatt, Kater Anthony and Josie Wyatt. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday May 4th 2024, at Southern Cemetery, Gibson Station, Virginia. O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
