Barbara Irene Brittain

Barbara Irene Brittain, 76, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Born Wednesday, March 2, 1949, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ross Luther Kershner and the late Dora Anna Mae (Shook) Kershner.
Barb graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1967. She was later employed as an Insurance Agent with Wright Gardner Insurance and Brethren Mutual Insurance. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, and member of the Degree of Pochohantas.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Albert "Bert" Brittain, great grandson, Jaymes Yeakle, son, Darryl Sensenbaugh and fiancé Crystal, daughter, Tricia Harnish and husband Dick, brother, Richard Vaughn Kershner and wife Diana, four granddaughters and nine great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday May 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM, at Concordia Lutheran Church 17906 Garden Lane, Hagerstown, MD. with the Rev. Mark Moretz officiating.
Interment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church 17906 Garden Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
