Lois Ann Parkison Dempe, 92, of McDonald, passed away on Sunday morning, July 13, 2025 in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
She was born on August 28, 1932 in Pittsburgh; a daughter of the late Ernest William and Grace Frazier Parkison.
Mrs. Dempe enjoyed being a homemaker and being with her family and grandchildren.
Her husband, John D. “Jack” Dempe who she married on May 1, 1953 passed away on January 9, 2014.
She is survived by her three children Deborah Vadas of McDonald, Kelly Plutko and husband Terry of Ambridge and Scott Dempe of McDonald; her granddaughter Shawna Simpson and husband Scott of McDonald; great grandchildren Drake, Ciara and Mason John Simpson; sisters and brother Dorothy Alfred and husband Floyd of Midway, Robert Parkison and wife Jill of McDonald and Terry Terensky and husband Dennis of Sturgeon; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are two brothers Carl Parkison and his wife Marilyn; and Earl Parkison, surviving wife Bette.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 19, 2025 in Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Services, LLC, 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. Lois will be laid to rest beside her husband Jack at 1:00 p.m. on Monday July 21, 2025 in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
