Lois Morgan Obituary

Lois "Ann" (Heath) Morgan, 71, of Irvington, and formerly of Monrovia, entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, while in the care of Bethany Village Nursing Home. She was born in Martinsville on May 16, 1954, to the late Wilford Rollin Heath and Flora Belle (Rice) Goode.
As a young girl, Ann attended Hall Elementary School, and later Monrovia High School with the class of 1972, where she was a majorette with the marching band. She and her siblings spent summers at Camp Berean, and Ann played a key role in Job's daughters. Marrying young, she started her little family and was a stay-at-home mom. She later earned her CNA to help supplement their income, working in a nursing home part time. When the kids were grown, she secured employment with Walmart on the east side of Indianapolis and worked her way up to department manager of lady's wear, devoting 30 plus years of service to the company and was blessed to retire in 2020.
Musically inclined, Ann flawlessly played the organ at the Calvary Baptist Church. Beautiful inside and out, she radiated a warm energy. She loved reading, crocheting, riding bicycles, and was a gifted baker. She enjoyed sitting in her rocking chair, gazing out the window while soaking up the beauty of nature. She cherished animals, especially her cats, and hand fed the neighborhood squirrels.
Ann settled in Irvington later in life and met her special friend, Randy, 6 years ago while taking a walk on Pennsy Trail, her favorite place to take a stroll. Intrigued by ghosts, she joked about them frequently and kept a baseball bat under her bed just in case. She regularly tuned in to watch the Simpsons, along with several other cartoons. A calming soul, she was patient and kind. While she never spoke a cuss word in her life, she was known to have an ornery side at times. Gone but never forgotten, Ann's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Along with her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her infant brother, Ronald Heath.
She leaves behind her special friend, Randy Dean of Irvington; children, Michael Morgan (Shana) of Bargersville, and Michelle McKeever of Indianapolis; siblings, Carolyn Allen (Marvin) of Monrovia, Carl Heath (Li Minghua) of Maryland, and Dave Heath (Barbara Ann) of Brooklyn; grandchildren, Jesse, Jayde, Macenzie, Savannah, Grant, Isabella, and Milo; 5 great grandchildren; and son in law, Jason McKeever of Indianapolis.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service beginning promptly at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Jack Elliott will officiate, and burial will follow in Mt.
