Lois Gayok Vasko, age 90 of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. Beloved wife of 50 years of the late Raymond C. Vasko, she is survived by her son Raymond C. Vasko, Jr. and grandson Jason R. Vasko. She was preceded in death by her youngest son Kenneth M. Vasko in 1989, as well as her two younger sisters Nancy Carson and Emilie Heller. She is also survived by nephews Michael Carson (Renee), Philip Heller, and niece Holly Carson.
Lois was born on September 28, 1934 in Upper Darby PA. She spent her childhood in Port Vue PA, and graduated from McKeesport High School in 1952. Lois and Ray were married on August 19, 1961 and lived many happy years together with family and friends in the Pittsburgh area, as well as in Naples FL and Valparaiso IN. Their love for each other sustained them through the great sorrow of losing Ken. Lois was a very generous woman and a devout Catholic. She will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence, perseverance and positive attitude!

There will be no visitation. Funeral Saturday, September 13, 2025, Mass of Christian Burial St. Paul Cathedral 9:30AM. Arrangements by John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com)
