Lonna Sue Lantrip, 80, of Moscow Mills, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1944 in East St. Louis to Mr. & Mrs. Gamblin. Lonna grew up with her brother, James.
On Oct. 16, 1971, she married her soulmate, Thomas Lantrip. They were blessed with four children: Bobby, Belynda, Joseph and Thomas.
Lonna had worked as a dedicated employee of Continental Sprayer for over 18 years.
She had been a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and cherished each and everyone of them.
Surviving are her loving children: Bobby (Tammy) Boone of Moscow Mills, Belynda Campbell of Moscow Mills, Joseph (Dianne) Lantrip of St. Charles, Thomas Lantrip of Union, Cyndi Lantrip of Wentzville,; Eleven surviving grandchildren: Tommy Lantrip Ill, Bobby Boone Ill, Josh Boone, Amber Lantrip, Seth Lantrip, Jessica Geiger,Alysia Lantrip, Jared Lantrip, Katie Lantrip, Jacob Lantrip, Nathan Lantrip; many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Lonna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Lantrip, her grandson, Doug Geiger, and her brother James Edward Farrar, Jr.
Visitation scheduled on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 3-9 p.m. at the McCoy- Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379 (636) 5 2 8 - 8 2 4 4
A Funeral service scheduled on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location. Rev. Dr. Obie Dalrymple to officiate.
Interment to follow in Fee Fee Cemetery in Bridgeton, MO
