He is survived by his sons, Joshua Duane Hackett, Lonnie Duane Hackett, II, and Jeremy Duane Hackett; grandchildren: Dominic Duane Hackett, Emery Patrick Hackett, and Abyl Duane Hackett; brothers, James (Jeanette) Hackett of Midland, Dale Hackett of Traverse City, John Hackett of Ludington, Joe Hackett of Oklahoma, Cory (Lori) Hackett of Alma, and sister Lori (Todd Pruss) Hackett of Edenville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jason Duane Hackett, nephew Christopher Hackett, grandparents, Cloyce and Lorraine "Cora" Hackett, and Sherman and Francis Osborn, and by a sister-in-law Tina Hackett.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
