Lonnie Wayne Parrett, 66, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 4:20 pm, Monday, June 30, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 17, 1959, in Savannah, Tennessee, to Terry and Bonnie (Whitehead) Parrett.
Lonnie was a 1977 graduate of Southwood High School. He married Jane Milliner in Wabash on December 3, 1977. He worked a variety of jobs throughout his life. Lonnie loved listening to music, riding his motorcycle, and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Parrett of Wabash, three sons, Brandon (Cindy) Parrett of Peru, Indiana, Jared (Sherry) Parrett and Chad Parrett, both of Wabash, parents, Terry Parrett and Bonnie Parrett of Wabash, six grandchildren, Landon (Kiana) Parrett, Audrey (Lucas) Shupert, Hannah Parrett, Kira Parrett, Eli Parrett, and Nathan Parrett, great-grandchildren, Cannon Parrett, Wesson Parrett, and one on the way, and brother, Terry Allan Parrett of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory T. Parrett and Hank Fawns.
Memorial services will be 4:00 pm, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, with Pastor Keith Allen officiating. Friends may call 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery at a later date.
