Loralea Rose Suever, 59, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024 at HCA Florida Palms West. She was born on January 30, 1965 in Epharta, Washington to Walter and Cathryn (Rowland) Moody Jr.. Loralea married Jeff Suever on April 3, 1999 and he survives.
Loralea's life was characterized by two things- her love of her Lord Jesus Christ and her love of reading. The first she expressed in countless hours of study, devotion, mentoring others in 1:1 relationships and teaching in formal settings. However, more than these formal displays, her faith was demonstrated by the way she lived her life and her "special gifts" were apparent to all. One of her favorite mottos was "I'd rather see a sermon, than hear one any day." Her last request was to hear the Psalms being read to her.
Her love of reading naturally led to a love of writing where she wrote many hundreds of poems and other works. Occasionally for special purposes such as Easter Church services, but mostly to express the joy of the Lord in her heart. One of her many dreams was to become a published author and was continually urged to compile her writings into a formal work. Shortly before her passing she submitted a draft for her part of an anthology which would mark the beginning of the realization of her lifelong dream.
All of this came together in her relationships with others. They weren't marked by her having some "charismatic" personality, or anything like that. But by her genuine care, concern and ability to make that person feel loved and to feel that their heavenly Father genuinely cared about not only them, but what was happening right then, in that moment.
In addition to her husband, Jeff, Loralea is survived by her mother, Cathryn, father Walter; three sisters and one brother, Wynona Parr, Peggy Errede, Donald Moody, and Janice Domke.
Funeral services for Loralea Rose Suever will be held on May 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Milton Oliphant officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. Visitation will be May 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

I never got to meet Loralea in person, but I did have the pleasure of working with her remotely for a few years. She was one of the most caring people I have ever got to know. Little did I know at the time that thanks to her advice, I would've end up getting my first home. She had told me many years ago to sign up for stocks, I didn't know any better at the time, but I listened to her advice. Fast forward into the future and I was able to get a home, all thanks to the advice she gave me at the time. It's a story I've told people over the years.

She'll be missed, you were a wonderful and caring person.

Jeff and Loralea reached their 25th Anniversary just before Loralea passed. I am so grateful for Jeff's prescence in her life and awed by his devotion. Jeff attended every doctor's appointment he could and was on constant vigilance whenever Loralea was hospitalized. We are so sorry for your loss, Jeff, and so grateful for all your kind care of Loralea and our mother Kate. May you find the peace that passes all understanding, Amen. Gratefully, peg e
