Lorena D. Ervin Maldonado

Lorena D. Ervin Maldonado from San Antonio, passed away peacefully at the age of 61 on September 11, 2023. She was born on July 23, 1962, in Cadiz, Negros Occidental, Philippines, to her loving parents Reynaldo and Lucia De La Rosa.
Lorena's life was a testament to joy and vitality, and she embraced each day with a cheerful spirit, living life to the fullest. Her infectious laughter and warm heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lorena's culinary talents were amazing, and her passion for crafting Filipino dishes filled the hearts of family and friends with warmth and delight. Her culinary creations were a testament to her boundless love and dedication to those she held dear.
In addition to her culinary expertise, Lorena achieved remarkable success in the corporate world, where she served as the President/CEO of Maldomenez, INC. for two consecutive years, from July 2019 to August 2021. Her dedication and leadership left an indelible mark on the company.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Oscar D. Maldonado, who stood by her side through life's joys and challenges. Lorena is also survived by her dear brother, Ronald De La Rosa Ervin, and her two sons, Robert Ervin and Brian Ervin, along with their loving wives, Kayla and Taylor, respectively. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family unity.
Lorena was a proud grandmother to Amaya, Juliette, and Robert Ervin, III, who brought immeasurable joy and happiness into her life. She also leaves behind cherished relatives abroad, who held a special place in her heart.
The family will receive friends and loved ones for visitation starting at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, located at 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. A service honoring Lorena's life will follow at 7:00 P.M.
On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, a procession will depart from the funeral home chapel at 9:00 A.M., leading to a graveside service at 9:30 A.M. at the Mission Retama Cemetery, located at 15940 Lookout Road, Selma, TX. This final farewell will provide an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and say their last goodbyes.
Lorena's memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts, and her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in eternal peace, cradled in the arms of the Lord she so faithfully cherished.
