Lorenzo Rocco Gangala, of Montclair, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Mountainside Medical Center, with his family by his side. He was 38 years old.
Born in Livingston, Lorenzo spent much of his life in Parsippany before recently moving to Montclair in 2023. He was a dedicated supervisor at Pasquale Gangala, LLC in Montclair, where he worked with passion and commitment.
Lorenzo was predeceased by his beloved grandparents: Anna Rago, Rocco Gangala, Josip Bevanda, and Tanja Bevanda, and his dear uncle, Enzo Iuzzolino.
Lorenzo was the true epitome of an incredible son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His kindness, infectious laughter, and unwavering spirit touched all who knew him. Whether he was at the gym or offering a helping hand to someone in need, Lorenzo's generosity knew no bounds. He was always making somebody smile or laugh, bringing joy to everyone around him with his love for joking around and his sense of humor. His friendship was a gift, and those fortunate enough to know him are better for it. His memory will forever be cherished by his loved ones.
Lorenzo is survived by his devoted parents, Pasquale and Sonja (nee Bevanda); his loving sister, Milena; his uncle, Greg Gangala and his wife, Lisa; his aunts: Olivera Bevanda, Gloria, Rosa Gangala and her husband, Vito, and Antonia Gangala. He is also survived by his cousins: Gregg, Gabriella, Vito, Pasqualina, Niko, Luka, Krassimira, and Denis, as well as many extended family members and friends including his partner, Christina.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany with his Funeral Service to be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22nd at the Funeral Home. Entombment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

My deepest condolences to you Bonjuklian family and especially to you Christina and the Gangala family on the loss of your beloved Lorenzo. May God grant you all peace during this difficult time of mourning. While I did not have the opportunity to meet Lorenzo here on earth, I have NO DOUBT we will all be together in Heaven one day. Rest in Peace Lorenzo. You will be missed by all.
