Loretta M. Locke, 95, wife of the late Robert Locke of Clifton Park, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13,2025 at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, NY.
Born July 18, 1930 to the late Thomas and Jennie (Sapudar) Simmons of Forest City, PA. Loretta was a resident of Binghamton, NY then later Johnson City NY for over 40 years. Finally , she relocated to Clifton Park, NY 25 years ago .
Loretta retired as a computer operator from IBM, Endicott, NY after 18 years in 1987. She was a communicant of Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church for over 40 years. Loretta was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Loretta is survived by daughter Jean Ammerall( Eric) of Clifton Park, NY, daughter Karen Lewis ( Alan) of Equinuk, PA,; 4 grandchildren, Jenna Ammerall and Joshua Ammerall, Charlene LaBean and family, Corey Lewis and family.
She is also survived by sister Agnes Johns of Binghamton, NY and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held for family and close friends at the convenience of the family. Loretta will be laid to rest in The Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Binghamton , NY.
