Loretta Mae Reinhart age 83 of Plain Twp. Passed away Tuesday July 9, 2024.
Loretta was born in New Castle, PA. to the late Thomas and Elsie Robson. Loretta had a strong faith in the Lord and dedicated her life to her family and the profession of Nursing Education. She is Professor Emeritus of Malone University where she served as Dean of the school of Nursing and Health Sciences 1991-2012. She was also Dean of the School of Nursing at Olivet Nazarene University 1979-1991 and Florida Southern College 2013-2016.
Loretta graduated from Hebron High School in Hebron, OH., Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL., Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH., then earned a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL.
She is preceded in death by parents Ted and Elsie Robson, and her grandson, Ryan Ingram.
She leaves behind her husband Larry Reinhart of 62 years. Her three children David (Elisa) Reinhart, Brenda (Cary) Weaver, and Christy (Ken) Skelly. Grandchildren, John (Maryna) Reinhart, Jacob Reinhart, Sophia Brandt Reinhart, Greta Brandt Reinhart, Tyler (Cassi) Ingram, Dylan Ingram, Brody Weaver, Colton Pester, Logan Pester (Eva Ruzics), Kamrin (Cedar) Fletcher, Regan Pester. Brittany (Tony) Aletta, Josh (Shannon) Skelly, Katie (Dylan) Marthey. Great Grandchildren, Noah, Everly, Blake, Ashton, Arlo, River. She is also survived by her siblings Thomas (Jan) Robson, Esther Mahaffery (Brant), and Larry (Anne) Robson plus several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 13 at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM. The funeral will be officiated by the Rev. Elisa Brandt of Madison, WI. The location is the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 North Market Ave., Canton, OH., 44714. Burial will take place following the service at Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern, OH.
