Lori Ann Challender, aged 55, of Swartz Creek, lovingly surrounded by her family, passed away on March 1, 2025. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 3 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, located at 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Friends and family are welcome to gather from 11 AM to 3 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Hurley Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Lori's honor. Lori was born on April 15, 1969, at the K. I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Gwinn, MI, to Gilbert and Charlene (Van Tifflin) Hilden. A proud graduate of Owosso High School in 1987, she further pursued her education by earning an Associate's degree from Baker College in Owosso. On October 19, 1996, Lori married her beloved husband, Timothy Challender. She was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter, cherished by all who knew her. Lori is survived by her loving husband Timothy; their twins, Peyton and Jack Challender; her mother, Charlene Hilden; her father-in-law, John (Catherine) Challender; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Hilden, and her beloved grandmother, Charlotte Hilden. Tributes and memories may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
