Lori Helt Obituary
Lori Helt, 63, formerly of Hannah, ND, passed while surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at her residence in Hillsboro, ND.
Lori Beth Helt was born June 21, 1961, in Park River, ND, the daughter of Virgil and Marilyn (Miller) Helt. She was raised in Hannah and attended schools in the nearby areas, graduating from Devils Lake in 1982. Lori went on to participate in a variety of programs. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially drawing. She loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews. Lori always had a love for all furry animals. Lori enjoyed competing in Special Olympics, taking home several medals.
She will be deeply missed by her sister, Bonnie (Shawn) Howatt, of Devils Lake, ND, and her family - Heather (Robert) Mayers, Aria, and Eli, of East Grand Forks, MN, Adam Howatt of Fargo, ND, and Mandy Howatt of Langdon, ND; her sister, Susan (Neil) Rundquist, of Grand Forks, ND and her family - Nathan (Alexa) Rundquist, Nolan, Bennett, Audrey, and Norah of Minnetonka, MN, Kaylee (Jason) Breidenbach, Bentley, and Ella of Thompson, ND; and her uncles, Tom Miller and Dennis (Pat) Helt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Marilyn Helt, and grandparents: Charley and Sylvia Helt and Leon and Roberta Miller.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour before the time of service. Burial will be at Hannah Cemetery.
