Lori Lynn Norton, age 70, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning Saturday, August 2, 2025 at her home. Lori was born July 28, 1955 in Traverse City, Michigan to the late Larry Eugene and Kathleen Lucille (Webster) Adams.
Lori married Terry Lee Norton on June 29, 1974 in Kinglsey, Michigan and together they began raising their family. Lori attended Delta College where she obtained her associate's degree in accounting. She spent many years in the wireless communication field, retiring as a technology support specialist for Verizon Wireless. In her spare time, Lori loved to crochet, loved music and that love allowed her to play the organ and piano not just as a hobby, but for her church, serving her Lord.
Lori is survived by her loving husband, Terry Lee Norton; daughter, Sarah and her husband, Joshua Hyde; son, Jonathan Norton; grandchildren, Linden, and Vorian; brother, Lindsey and his wife, Shannon Adams; sister, Kara and her husband, Damon Schmidt; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends all whom will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, Larry and Kathleen Adams, Lori was preceded in death by a grandson, Tristian.
Visitation for Lori will take place from 11:00 am to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday August 6, 2025 at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1200 Garfield Avenue, Bay City, Michigan, 48708. The funeral ceremony will begin Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Bay City, Michigan immediately following.
