Lorie Ann (Keller) Phillips, 59, passed away on September 12, 2025, in Webb City, MO, surrounded by family.
She was born on August 29, 1966, in Joplin Missouri, to the late Virgil and Violet (Johnson) Phillips. Lorie grew up in Seneca, MO and was a proud graduate of Seneca High School. Her professional journey in occupational and physical therapy was more than a career; it was a calling. Lorie's hands were known to heal, her words to comfort, and her presence to uplift the spirits of those she served. She was the embodiment of joy, and her ability to make anyone feel at ease was one of her most remarkable gifts. Conversations with Lorie were never short of laughter and sincerity, and her advice was always delivered with love.
Lorie was an avid fan of Mickey Mouse, the Dallas Cowboys, and going to the casino. Her morning ritual was making her favorite cup of coffee and watering her plants, a quiet reflection of the nurturing nature that defined her. She is survived by her children, Heather Keller and Sam Keller; daughter-in- law Chelsi Keller, stepson, Aaron Keller; grandchildren, Dawson Keller (Bugga), Brooklyn Keller, and Braxton Keller; her brothers and sisters; and a host of cousins and friends.
Along with her parents, Lorie is preceded in death by her husband, David Keller; grandson, Jayden Keller; uncle, Gean Phillips; sister, Darlene; her long time friend, Pattie King; and mother-in-law, Virginia Keller.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, MO.
