Lorraine B. Farrell, 78, of Raymond, NH, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with illness.

Born on January 6, 1947, in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Noonan. Lorraine grew up in South Boston as one of ten children. She graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School and later attended Sylvania Technical School.

Lorraine also lived in Manomet, MA and in 1982, she met the love of her life, Mark Farrell, while they were both working as electronic technicians at Butler Automatic Manufacturing in Canton, MA. After nearly a decade together, they married in 1991 and eventually settled in Raymond, NH, in 1999.

After many years in the workforce, Lorraine devoted herself to being a homemaker. Having grown up in a large family, she embraced motherhood with love and dedication, raising six children. She also raised two of her grandchildren and cared tirelessly for her own mother when she developed Alzheimer's disease over ten years.

Lorraine had a passion for baking and cooking, and her home became the heart of family gatherings, especially on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. She found great comfort and strength in studying her Bible, and her faith was an important part of her life.

Lorraine is survived by her beloved husband, Mark; her daughter, Sharon Barbato, her son Thomas Barbato and his wife Ann, Barry Southworth, Mark Farrell Jr.; her sister, Irene Pirelli, her sister Kathleen Lavoie and her Husband Fred, her sister Dorothy Barbara and her husband Mark Vermylia, her sister Denise Dionne and her companion Andy, and her brother, John Noonan Jr. She is also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, Sean, Mitchell, Kaitlyn, Jonell, Jacob, Alyssa, Brennan, Trinity, Brielle, Barry, III, great grandson, Noah, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was predeceased by her parents; her children, Christopher Barbato and Tina Southworth; her siblings, Carol Davidson, Richard Fraser, Ernest Fraser, and Margaret Noonan and her granddaughter, Celia Head.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with interment immediately after at New Pine Grove Cemetery, Epping St., Raymond, NH.
