Lorraine Kostuch, 74, of Amherst Junction, WI, passed away on September 20, 2022.
Lorraine was born on August 5, 1948 in Amherst Junction to Walter and Irene Ostrowski. Lorraine attended Fancher elementary and graduated from Amherst High School in 1966.
Lorraine married her husband Anthony Kostuch on April 26, 1969. After they were married they farmed for 43 years in the township of New Hope. After they sold the dairy cows, Lorraine attended Mid State Technical College.
Lorraine enjoyed many crafting activities, especially sewing. She loved spending time with her family, having family meals, and playing cards together. She also liked rummage sales, gardening, photography, bus trips, and baking. Lorraine was a good cook and was always looking for new recipes. She also enjoyed making quilts for the church picnic and fish fries.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Anthony, their 2 children; Thomas Kostuch, Linda (Mike) Perleberg and grandson Lane Perleberg. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Mary (Ernie) Kostuch, Charlotte (Phillip) Martin.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Leonard Ostrowski.
A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at University Hospital Madison and Agrace Hospice Care.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Shuda Funeral Home, 3200 Stanley Street, Stevens Point, on Sunday, September 25th from 4:00-7:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Adalbert's Church in Rosholt on Monday, September 26th at 11:00 AM.
