Louie R Sawyer

Louie Ray Sawyer, age 88, a resident of Brundidge, AL died Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Sawyer will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with the Reverend Donnie Marler officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.
He was a loving husband, father and friend. If there was one thing to be said about Mr. Sawyer, it was that he was an outdoorsman. Whether it was hunting or fishing he loved being outside. The very first time that he went hunting, he killed his first deer, and he was hooked ever since. Whatever he did he had fun. He loved life and enjoyed every minute of it. Above all he loved his family and he cherished the time he had with them.
Mr. Sawyer is survived by his wife of 63 years Brenda Sawyer; children: Jessie Ray Sawyer (Rachel) and Eric Paul Sawyer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
