Louis Roncace was born in Upper Darby, PA to the late Felix J. Roncace and Mary Morris (stepfather George J. Morris, Sr.). Louis attended St. Aloysius Academy Boarding School in his early years, next moving onto St. Joseph’s Preparatory School and eventually graduating from West Catholic High School. Louis went to La Salle University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management. After graduating he worked at King’s Macaroni Factory, his family’s business, in management.

Louis served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and cherished his time as a lifeguard in Atlantic City. He worked for The State of Pennsylvania in the unemployment office and eventually advanced to the Federal Government’s Office of Veteran’s Affairs. After retiring from the Federal Government, Lou continued his commitment to the country by working for the county in accounting, then working in the court system.

Louis was recently predeceased by his true love, his wife Carol Brennan Roncace. They married and raised their family in Drexel Hill, PA later moving to Wallingford, PA. They spent every summer in the Ventnor house on the bay, continuing Louis’s childhood summer traditions. They later moved to Somers Point, NJ with another beautiful bay view. While in Somers Point, Lou enjoyed fishing on “Family Tides” with his first mate, his brother Phil.

Louis was predeceased by his brother, George J. Morris, Jr., his brother in laws Jerome Brennan, Paul Brennan, sister in law Linda Kushuba, and niece Kristina Morris.

He is survived by his dear children: Patrick Roncace (Sandra), Amy Epstein (Neil), and Katie Roncace (Lou Picone). He was also a loving grandfather (Poppy/Papa) to Maxim Roncace (Morgan), Juliet Roncace, Caedyn Roncace, Avery Epstein, and Devon Epstein. Additionally, he is remembered as a loving brother to Phil Morris (Sue) and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Louis’s Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM on Friday, January 9th at The Donohue Funeral Home, located at 366 West Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA. A Life Celebration service will follow at 10:30 AM with burial at Calvary Cemetery to take place afterward.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Louis' name to Home for our Troops, 6 Main St, Taunton, MA 02780, hfotusa.org, would be appreciated.
