Louise J. (Macera) Scungio, 96, of The Bridge at Cherry Hill, Johnston, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Scungio. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Mauro and Maria (Cardillo) Macera.
Louise was the devoted mother of William M. Scungio and his wife Linda and Deborah J, Cardin and her husband Philip all of Cranston and Gregory M. Scungio and his wife Elaine of Warwick; cherished grandmother of Marc Cardin, Michael Cardin, Alyssa Grenier, Matthew Scungio, Arianna Scungio and Christian Scungio; and loving great-grandmother of nine. She was the dear sister of the late Pasco, Vito, Ralph, Michael and Anthony Macera, Lena Cece, Evelyn Altrui, Margaret Mulhearn, Mary Lepore and Angela Lombardo. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 22nd at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
