Pasquale A. Scungio

84, of Johnston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Pasquale was the husband of Beverly Ann (Cantone) Scungio for 64 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Pauline (Annaldo) Scungio. Pasquale is survived by his children Kathleen A. Slattery, Pasquale A. Scungio Jr., David P. Scungio, Anthony D. Scungio and his wife Michele, Daniel J. Scungio and his wife Cheri, and the late Dennis J. Scungio. Pasquale was the cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Anthony Scungio and his wife Cynthia.
Pasquale was a veteran, Private First Class in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed by the town of Johnston as a carpenter for 4 years. He was an honored member of the Santa Maria Di Prata Society for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Local 94 Carpenters Union for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing bocce, traveling, hunting, fishing, watching football and golf, summers on his boat, being in his pool, and spending time with his family.
His funeral services are private, kindly omit flowers.
