Lucia Nuñez Gomez Born in Nacozari de Garcia Sonora On March 24, 1943, She grew up in Nogales Sonora where she married her late husband Claudio Cardenas Vega, and started her family before immigrating to Phoenix Arizona in 1970. Where she raised her family. Retired to San Carlos Sonora then moved to Rio Rico Arizona where she made many close friends along her journey of life. Our beautiful beloved MAMITA grandmother, great grandmother, Sister, Aunt, cousin, friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 27,2024. She will be missed by many, Mamita had a great life, she enjoyed her birthdays like no one ever knows. She loved cooking for her family gatherings Always took care of everyone Her devotion in life was to make others happy, taking care of all those in need. Her love for cooking was immense, always had a meal for anyone. She loved traveling, she loved driving her self where ever she desired. She is survived by her son Marco (Lucy) Daughters Rosie, Adriana (Henry), Lucy, Judy, Monica (Antonio) Claudia (Dave) Laura and Connie. 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and was a Godmother to many. 8 Sisters, 2 sister in laws 1 brother and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her late husband Claudio Cardenas Vega, her grandchildren Veronica and Bobby Her parents Jesus Agundez and Rosa Gomez, her brother Antonio Agundez and sister Ana Elvia Lopez Agundez and her beloved Cardenas in-laws and family. She will always live in our hearts. Will always be remembered as our amazing angel in heaven.
